Bedroom remixer, been mixing since early 80's, then moved onto remixing with an Atari 1040, an Akai S950 and editing on 1/4" tape....I now use Reason, just like using old hardware, love the wiring :) Favourite DJ's/remixers are Peter Slaghuis, Tony DeVit, Paul Dakeyne, Max Mix Team, Raul Orellano, Chris Lucas & Rod Warren, Mark Andrews, Sanny X, just to name a few.

Been a Disc Jockey for close to 40 years. I worked clubs in NY/Long Island & Florida working some of the best clubs during their times. If you're familiar with Long Island, back in the late 70's and early 80's I worked every OBI which their were 3 of them. The one in Hamptons was outrageous during the summers as it was the place to be. Spinning in front of 1500 to 2000 people every Friday & Saturday night was a blast. Sunday afternoons was mind blowing.By time the mid to late 80's came around my favorite genre was Latin Freestyle. The music was smoking hot!! I had a 4 year run at this club in Bayshore called Club Paradise from 1985-1989. One thing about latino's they know how to party!!!. I had every track act in this club which only had a 600 capacity. To date it was by far the best club I ever worked. Hanging out with the likes of Stevie B, The Cover Girls, TKA, George Lamond Judy Torres & my favorite female freestyle artist, Cynthia was a trip. The music was real. The crowds partied real hard & to this day I still enjoy the music. Every now & then I pull out the autographed pictures from all the artists that I broke in this club and I smile thinking about the memories. I hung up the headphones a few years back & only break them out to do a classic disco or freestyle night. I also appreciate real good house music with piano grooves and riffs.

Dr Disco has been djing in Europe since 1988. First as a mobile DJ playing a wide range of Pop, Soul, House ,Classic Disco & Hits & Bits from the 90’ & 80's. Then discovering that the club scene was the place to be, 2005 was when his music profile changed to reach a worldwide audience! I have two Dennon HS5500 which is like having 4 turntables since you can play 2 tracks from the same player along with a DJM-600-K PIONEER MIXER. aahhh You don't want to know!!!! but mostly my own home made mixes specially done for the party I do. I like to do a "show" of what people have requested ahead of time so I like to make a mix or two with extra effects and get rid of all the boring intros and outros that sometimes seem they go forever. I am a paralegal in the day time. I have been working there for 16 years and I ;also do hair in the evenings. I ;love cutting hair and doing "Glamour" make up. ; Also, I ;dj on the weekends mainly for "fundraiser". I ;like to help people that are suffering from Alzheimers since my dad was just diagnosed with it, I also do it for people with Cancer and Aids by donating my time and money. My dad was a musician all his life so I have the music in me but as I was growing up I loved to hear really high energy disco, and then tribal, techno, rave but I now enjoy the diva house music with a touch of tribal touch.

From Vauxhall NJ where I first heard a DJ by the name of George Potter who helped me create my first mix with two turn tables at the age of 13. Then there was Mark Thompson who helped me polish up my skills on blending. Other mentors to me are Vernon Roberts, Phase III Disco aka DJ Butch, and Larry Morman. But it was when I went to my first night club New Experience and listened to Mark Thompson mix with 3 turntables and a reel to reel and said this will be me someday. Then there was the Paradise Garage, what an experience. Larry Levan is a one of kind. It was when I heard him for the first time and learned it’s not about the mix but about the music and how you control the music. I took that being said to Germany where I spent 4 ½ years in the army DJ’ing around Europe in several night clubs and raves. The way you control the music puts you in complete control of the crowed. So I would just like to say to up and coming DJ’s out there, it’s not always your mix but the song you play and how you play it. The right song played the right way will always move crowed!!

I have to give some major credit to Jeff Green (R.I.P) who was the greatest influence I had on my DeeJaying. Disco, funk, early electro, freestyle and hip hop are huge influences and led me to discover house music at the tail end of the 80's / early 90's. Started DeeJaying around '92 and a few years later found myself throwing and playing raves and EDM weeklies all over Atlanta. Did the rave thing til '03 and got into the clubs around then doing the top 40/rap thing. Held numerous residencies in the ATL.
